Coalition relocating to Ronne. All citadels are already operational. New HQ will be Ronne – SiCO Trade Center (Strategic Holding – 1st Division)
We are relocating our coalition HS headquarter to a new location. While moving is always annoying and requires a lot of work from both the players and the coalition logistical department it is done when we can see great benefits from relocations.
Primary reason for the relocation is the fact that moon mining is no longer profitable. We originally moved to the Audaerne region as it hosts plenty of 0.5 security systems where moons can be mined. Now that moons are less valuable than normal ore belts we are reverting back to pre moon era times and will be focusing on belt mining.
Operating in a 0.5 system also makes it easier for gankers to gank us. As we have been under a heavy focus of ganking lately the move out from a 0.5 system will make it a bit more safer to mine. However we still recommend you to mine only with the doctrines we are recommending now which are venture, procurer and skiff. Ganking in the new system will still be possible and will happen against ships that are fitted incorrectly or are unnecessary valuable for high sec mining.
Where are we moving
We are relocating our headquarters to the Ronne system: https://evemaps.dotlan.net/system/Ronne similar to Audaerne we will have an NPC station close by if we need it. All actual operations and services will be provided at our citadels similar to Audaerne. We will also use a fortizar as a staging station different from Audaerne where the NPC station was the staging station. This allows better utilisation of the market. Our new staging will be Ronne – SiCO Trade Center
Different from our operations in Audaerne we will be using multiple systems. Our mining heaven will be located next doors to Ronne in Jarkkolen https://evemaps.dotlan.net/system/Jarkkolen. We will provide buyback for you in the system for ore and ice.
Benefits of new region
Jarkkolen contains 50 moon belts which are the most belts seen in known high sec space. However weirdly enough this system is uninhabited and has only had around 10 losses during 2020. With combining the close by systems we reach as much as 70 belts for mining which is sufficient to provide mining from downtime to downtime.
Jarkkolen is a 0.8 security system which means that concord will respond a lot faster and the NPC rats in the belts are easier to kill. This will make the system more friendly for new players.
Ore buyback will be provided inside Jarkkolen so you do not need to move your ores you mine in there.
When we no longer need to supply 60+ moon mining citadels with fuel we are also able to reduce the tax rates on the buyback system.
We have ice 3 jumps out from Ronne in Riavayed https://evemaps.dotlan.net/system/Riavayed this means that ice mining is also now easier than in Audaerne where the ice fields were a lot further away.
We are relocated very close to faction warfare space similar to Audaerne. We are in fact around the same cluster of low sec system that we have in audaerne and our entry to this cluster will happen from Sosala https://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/The_Bleak_Lands/Sosala#sec. So low sec options and few will remain the same as in Audaerne.
We are a lot closer to null sec space. This will make it a lot easier for roaming in null for pvp. Our closest null sec entry will be to Providence space.
We are closer to Amarr trade hub. The hub is 8 jumps out compared to Dodixie that was 6 jumps out from Audaerne. However supply and prices in Amarr hub are way better than in Dodixie. We will also have our own market hub online in Ronne the same way we have it in Audaerne.
Level 4 mission agents can be found within 3 jumps from HQ. We also have level 5 agents available within 5 jumps.
Buyback will be available in Ronne (ore buyback focusing on Jarkkolen).
When and if CCP makes moons again valuable the nearby systems contain 0.5 systems with a lot of moons in them. This way if needed we can open moon mining operations without a need of a huge move op.
All coalition services will be moving to Ronne from Audaerne including citadels for refining, market and industry.
Moving to new system
The new HQ is 22 jumps out by high sec and 9 jumps out by low sec. However if you are moving something expensive or slow you will need to take the high sec route. If you are using our freight services you can take your pod to the new system via the low sec route that departs from Avenod.
Be aware of gankers as the high sec route will pass several well known ganking systems.
This is a great time to clean up your inventory from items that you never use. You can either ship your items out to Jita for selling by using our freight services or sell them to buyback.
There are a few ways to get your items to the new system.
You can move your items yourself. However always keep in mind the golden rules when hauling that you do not haul too much value in a single trip. In other words do not haul anything you don’t mind losing as ganks on travel routes will happen.
You can use coalition freight service https://auth.silentcoalition.com/freight/calculator/ for moving your items. Cost per cubic meter (m3) is stated on the program. As moving takes a lot of time and sometimes money from the freighters it is not recommended that you ship in large low value items as it will cost yourself quite a lot of ISK.
Always remember to use collateral when creating alliance courier contracts!
You can also use third party freight services such as https://www.pushx.net/. Their service may be a bit faster but the downside is that the money will then not remain within the coalition.
Timeframe
Services such as buyback will remain online in Audaerne for at least a few weeks. However we strongly recommend that you use this time to sell items that you are not looking to haul to Jita or to Ronne and not for new items that you gather.
All other services will relocate immediately including BPOs.
Moons in Audaerne region will be shut down so move your items out of the moon miners if you have something stored in there.
Market fortizar, industry tower and refining station will be also pulled down in around 2 months from now. You will be notified about this.
All citadels are up and operational in the new region.
