Maspah adds Dedicated Refining Service
A few of you have already noticed, but we have a new hunk of metal floating in space near Central Station in Maspah. This is our new refinery station. It is now online and operational. Due to the closeness and insta-warp between the stations (the docks are closely aligned), after I return from vacation, I will be offlining the refining services at Central Station to save fuel cost. While you do now have to move the ore and minerals back and forth, not only are they very close (approx. 10,000 km), but the Flux refinery will give you an additional boost to your refining yield! This is a built in bonus for the structure. It is not rigged.
To clarify, there will be no change to the cost of refining. Refining in Maspah will continue to be 0% tax while our moon based refineries will have 1.5% tax. There are various reasons for this, but most importantly, bonuses are highest at Maspah, you’ll get more minerals refining there.
In conjunction with this, I have also onlined a new refinery at Berta’s Vulcan II station. This station is ideally located centrally between all the other moon bases in system making it a great location to add our own compression. After VIRION’s loss of refining services, I figured it was time to add our own. Plus it will make hauling the ore a bit easier.
BONUS ANNOUNCEMENT:
We are adding 2 addition moon bases to our portfolio. This will bring our total up to 8 bases! Due to player spread across time zones, 5 of these bases will pop during EU peak hours, and 3 of them will come up during US peak hours. This should help provide a good deal of mining content for everyone overall. We will continue to evaluate our mining volume over time and will add more bases as needed.
A thought I’ve had while reading articles like this one-
I see that this site has a page labeled Key Locations, but it only really lists Mespah.
I understand that it would take a lot of work… but a full list of Corp/Alliance structures and locations would be an amazing help to all us newer members.
You are absolutely correct. That is on my list….it just hasn’t been given a very high priority with everything else going on. Hopefully I can get there soon!

along similar lines of thinking… i am curious about the Corps recruitment efforts.
is there a group or committee responsible for posting recruitment posts on official EVE forums, etc?
are there rules or restrictions on Members engaging in recruitment activities?

So far recruitment has just been handled by CEOs and Directors mostly driven to drive members into our entry level corps and then flow out to other corps from there. If you do want to do some recruitment or have some guidelines on talking to potential new recruits PM me in discord.
