SEADC inactivity changes coming in december patch

After years and years of waiting the war dec system in EVE is finally getting looked at by CCP. After the initial change that is not planned to be a permanent solution, corporations without anchorable structures will no longer be wardecable meaning there will be no more grief or merc wars.

Our current policy for member inactivity is to kick players who have not logged in at all during a 2 month period. This has mainly been to keep our member count smaller to avoid war decs. With the changes there is no longer a need for this and we are able to keep our member count higher and allow returning players to get right back into business with us.

With the december patch we will increase our inactivity period to 1 year, however we will be tightening our AUTH and DISCORD requirements meaning:

  • Any SEADC member that has been in the corporation for 1 month or more will be removed if they fail to activate their AUTH and discord services.

In other words your activity will be measured with your ability to stay on top of things which is easier than simply looking at your offline time. Besides of this it allows players with longer inactivity periods (rl issues, holidays etc) to return right back to us when they return to EVE.
