State Of Coalition and Reformation

Due to the recent war events we have been taking a deeper look at the current state of our coalition. We have come to a conclusion that the coalition is in need of some re organizing as well as some reformatting.

The following changes will be taken into effect immediately:

Phase 1

Staging

We will be changing our staging system and station. The corporations operating in high security space will be staging out from a NPC corporation instead of a citadel. The simple reason for this is the things we learned from our last war. We want to make sure that our entry level corporations are not pulled in any high sec wars ever again.

To reduce the risk of losing our foothold in a system we will be changing our staging to a NPC station as they can’t be destroyed.

The obvious downside is that the NPC stations do not have as good services as the citadels have but it totally eliminates us to have to worry about losing our staging station and having our assets possibly locked out in asset safety for a week.

Staging structure is likely to change in Phase 2 of reform (see later)

Citadels

We will be dropping out our large citadels at this time. As our military force goes stronger and they are able to defend a bit larger threats on our citadels we might upgrade again.

Since we will be staging from NPC stations we lack some services. We will anchor service citadels around the NPC station so that we are able to cover all services that we need.

However keep in mind that the military force that we have in high sec space with our pvp corporations might not be able to defend these structures. In an event of them facing a too large force the citadel will be let go instead of brining in the high sec corporations like we did in Maspah.

For this reason you should only use these citadels for services such as building, cloning or research and keep your assets in the staging system.

Relocation

We will be moving our high sec HQ system. Even when we could do all of our reformation in Maspah we have decided that we are going to move and the reasons are:

Our new HQ will be in Audaerne http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Sinq_Laison/Audaerne#sec

Our new Staging station for now will be: Audaerne X – Moon 3 – Poteque Pharmaceuticals Biotech Production

Fresh Start

By moving to a new area we get a fresh start in a more physical way than we would get by changing to the NPC station in Maspah. This gives a proper feeling of us starting a new era in SiCO.

A more central location

Let’s face it, Maspah is fucking far out from everything. For a new player having to move 30 jumps unless you happen to be a Minmatar player is a long trip. Not to mention the distance from proper trade hubs.

We will be moving to a location that is geologically in the center of New Eden we reduce the travel distances for new players moving in.

We also reduce the distance to hubs. Route via high sec to jita will be cut to 18 jumps compared to current 29 jumps. While not only this the closest and second largest hub Dodixie will be only 6 jumps away. Prices in Dodixie will be greatly better than in Rens.

For advanced logistics the new location is perfect as its just one jump freighter jump from Jita. This allows us to do all kind of cool stuff with marketing and industry.

New friends

We will have new friends in the new operating location. We will be able to get a change in scenery and get some joint operations with them.

Next to low sec

We will have low sec right next to us. This will allow us to do more low sec operations as well as launch advanced industry that is not possibly in high sec space.

Structures in the low sec system can be also defended by all SiCO members without the needs of wars so it will allow us to have more PvP content as well!

Plenty of moon systems

Our new home is part of a cluster of 0.5 sec system which means that we can keep on dropping tons of moon mining citadels right next to our HQ system.

Close to Mackies raiders

We will be 7 jumps out from Mackies Raiders, our faction warfare wing. This will make it easier for us to join more of their operations as the travel distance will be greatly reduced.

War eligibility statuses

The corporations that are meant to stay out of war will stay out of wars. There will be no exceptions to this in the future. If we face to lose a structure in high sec space then we will simply let it go as described in the citadel section. We will only drop what we can afford to lose with the PvP pilots we have around and expand as our military force in high sec grows stronger.

We will make it clear to all members which corporations are able to join wars and which will always remain out from them.

No exceptions done.

Corporation roles

Each corporation role in the coalition will be checked and made sure each corporation has a clear description about their current goals and operating methods.

We want to make sure that when you are looking something new to play and are considering to change your corporation that you have a clear picture of the options that you have in the coalition.

We will keep on looking for more corporations to fill in the roles we currently lack.

Each corporation will keep on operating on their own terms like so far.

3GODs to null sec

Game Of Drones will be moving to null sec and work as the entry level corporation for null sec life. They will operate exactly like SEADC does, but only do that in null sec instead.

3GODs member will get more details about this on a closer timer. If you are not ready to move to null you are able to transfer to a different SiCO corporation.

However this is a great opportunity to get your hands on big moneys and null sec content. For anyone that has not tried null sec before this will be the perfect way to get started as you will have low requirements and great benefits given for you

Phase 2

On the second phase of our reformation we will be looking closer at smaller problems we have in the coalition. As we have set ourselves up and running in our new home we will be starting to focus on the next things:

Doctrines

Doctrines always change and fit metas are on the move. We will have a look again on all of our doctrine and see if they need a total rework. We will try to find a doctrine that works best as a compromise solution compared to the doctrines in each individual corporations with us.

We will keep a coalition entry level doctrine that is cheap to replace and that we can use SRP money on.

We will add a more advanced doctrine with expensive ships to aim for as a long term goal.

Tank type, gun systems and all other doctrine related stuff will be determined once we are able to tackle this issue. We will do our best to match any new doctrines with the ones we have right now to prevent cross training.

New MQP types

We will be launching new types of MQP programs taking place in low sec mining and wormhole space. The only limitation to the different types comes from the amount of fleet commanders we have available to run these fleets.

Our first focus will be on mining fleets followed by more advanced combat fleets with larger doctrines and SRP on those fleets.

Coalition income

Currently coalition income is calculated based on SEADC income. Our current incomes are: 1% tax rate on corp and that’s it.

To give you an idea what 1% tax means it is around 200 mil isk per month. So all in all we have no income as a coalition to cover SRP and expansions.

So far all investments for structures etc. have been done with donations to the corp. We want to be more self-sufficient and be able to provide stuff like SRP on cruiser doctrines

Coalition income will not come from member pockets or from tax.

Our new location will allow us to take advantage of more advanced logistics and we will be launching some reactions and industry and use that money to support our fleet activities. A normal line member won’t see any difference into their normal activity but the players operating behind the curtains will need to be well organized for the money to flow.

Coalition shares

We will be launching a simple donation system for people willing to donate money to the coalition usage. So far the donations have not been noted and we are going to use coalition shares that you can “buy” as a donation.

At this point shares are only good for donations but we are trying to build a proper stock market system for our shares later on when we have time. You will get more information about this as we get closer to work on with the details.

Growing our dedicated corporations

We will be keeping on growing our dedicated corporations stronger by guiding our new members in the entry corporations towards the more focused corporations like we have done so far.

We will try to make it easier for you to understand the different routes you can take within the coalition so that we are able to get the right players in the right corporations.

Upgrading staging station

Once we have tackled all the previous issues and we feel comfortable enough we will lift the restriction on large structures and likely anchor one for our staging point.

In order for us to do this we will need to make sure that we have enough military presence in the given pvp corporations we have at the time or that we have enough allies to push out most notable military threats against large citadels.

We will also need to have clear doctrine structure and make sure we have enough players able to fly them. Having proper income for coalition will allow us to add SRP on more valuable ships.

Obviously at some point there can always be a larger entity that we may face no matter who our friends are and a staging citadel can be lost. However we want to make sure that we wont face any gorilla warfare where a handful of players are able to keep reffing our citadels over and over again.
