For those of dont like to listen here is an overall summary of the meeting minus some bonus talks that we had after the meeting (that can be heard on the recording)

State of the coalition 5.4.2019

It has been a hectic couple of months and a lot has happened in the coalition. We both made some friends, made some enemies, launched structures as well as lost structures and footholds in space. In this meeting I am trying to give you a look at the overall state of the coalition and what we are trying to achieve here.

The largest individual event in the coalition was obviously the siege of our C4 wormhole. We had a nasty amount of hostiles in the wormhole that managed to keep good hole control for the whole duration of the siege. This prevented us from bringing in any combat forces outside the wormhole itself. All in all we lost around 100b in assets when combining all the assets we lost during the fights and when the fortizar was destroyed.

We are currently looking for a new wormhole, likely to be at the same class that the last one was. Since spectrum alliance has also launched some operations in a class 4 wormhole we might have HVEN to move in with them and start over in there.

Overall we are looking to keep up with wormhole activities but with a bit more security. The current wormhole maps are only shared with HVEN (and spectrum) and any SEADC members who want to get into the wormhole will need to go in there by getting help from the wormhole standing fleet or by asking someone in the wormhole to guide them in.

We will keep on monitoring the situation with the wormholes and aim to keep increased security just so that it’s a bit harder to invade us again.

We also launched a new doctrine and achieved the old canes doctrine. While this new doctrines is fairly similar to the old canes one we are expecting it to perform a lot better. The new ferox doctrine is designed to be the mass response doctrine that we will stock up in wormhole space and then can divide out in case of loss of hole control in future sieges.

We are still keeping shield as our main doctrine in SiCO in general as it is easier to get into and it works well in large fleets outside high sec space.

We also launched a second level doctrine inside MQP doctrine. These fits include logistics fits as well as T2 fits. With these changes we aim to create a more realistic environment for MQP fleets where people are thought how to fly in fleets that have logistics in them. The T2 ships are designed for older players with more SP who like to keep attending the pvp action provided by MQP.

Each different wing in SiCO has their own doctrines and unlike in the past we will not try to match the doctrines with each other. With this possible cross training we want to make sure that each party is flying their optimal doctrines. If you want to move to a different wing you are expected to train for the doctrines in that wing.

The largest change regarding wings in SiCO was the event of The Tribesmen leaving us with bad terms even thou we tried to separate in good terms. The exact reason for the separation was never given to me by the tribesmen leadership but what I could read from between the lines they burned out on the wars and were expecting SEADC to step in with numbers to help them with all the wars they had going on. Added with that they did have some history with the SAS mercs we were consulting at the time due to our ongoing contract with them Tribesmen decided to leave with a few hours notice to us and locking all of their citadels from us.

Luckily this chain of events led us to meet spectrum Alliance who are operating as high sec mercs. They tok the job of destroying tribesmens citadels in audaerne so that we could drop our own citadels in there and provide mining fields for our high sec members.

We used a great deal of SEADCs wallet reserves to invest in 10 new athanors and fits for them. These structures are almost all anchored in audaerne and are currently fully operational and providing mining fields for our members. We will keep on monitoring the situation and the amount of moon fields generated to see if we need to add more structures to cover the demand of our miners.

spectrum and XASAR are the main forces that are there to protect these structures from hostile actions. We are hoping that they do not get destroyed anytime soon. If you are more of a pvp players I recommend you approach the CEO of these parties for joining their corporations.

We have been trying to do some cleaning up with the corporations we have in the coalition. We removed a few inactive corporations that most of you probably do not even know about. We are trying to make each corporation have a clear goal with them so that if you want to join a different corporation you will know what you are getting into.

Sadly Niluso who was the CEO of Mackies Raiders stepped down and by that we lost quite a lot of communications with the corporation. Their new CEO has not been interacting with is lately but we are trying to bring them back into the picture. Mackies Raiders are operating very close to our current HQ in faction warfare so it is important to me that we would be able to offer FW content for those players who seek to do it.

For Game Of Drones you will get a bit better briefing from their own CEO a bit later on. Short story is they moved to null sec and so far after setting things up in there things are rolling smoothly.

Same for spectrum alliance their CEO will give you a brief runaround for the current situation and what they are doing.

For the rest of the corporations that are part of SiCO we try to set up clear goals and see if there is anything we can do to help them thrive.

Coalition income is on a general level calculated by the income of SEADC as SEADC pays for some general services such as SRP and dropping new structures. After the heavy investments we have now done we are pretty low on money. However you need to keep in mind that each of the SiCO corporations have their own financials that are not linked together. Each corporation may give you the runaround of their own financial status but over all all corporations are in a pretty good place.

We are trying to increase SEADC income by running moon reactions and selling the reaction products for profit. The second level for income comes from buyback but it is not that much as we generate roughly 5% income with the stuff we buy in. The third income is the corporation tax which is currently set to 1%. We currently generate just a couple of hundred millions a month with this.

All the senior members of SEADC are able to see our wallets so they are also able to confirm that we are indeed not swimming in the money from taxes we have on the services. The taxes we have are simply there to cover expenses in: SRP, fuel cost and doctrine investments. SEADC as itself is a non profiting corporation and instead of building money in our corporation wallet we are trying to build the money in your wallets.

Our greatest static expense at this time Is the fuel cost for our moon athanors and SRP cost. Large investments as mentioned have been the citadels.

We are keeping on working on building SiCO as a nice place for all type of players to play in. With the  current corporations we have in the corporation we are able to provide quite a lot of content in different areas of EVE. The next goals we have in the coalition as whole are to:

Make each corporation goal clear for all coalition members.

Have all of the coalition corporations interacting as much as possible.

Make it easy for members to transfer to a new corporation when their gameplay changes

Make sure that each corporation is in a place they want to be in.

While we try to build SiCO a very nice place to play in with different options for different pilots there are of course time to time players joining us who like to troll or cause harm. It is not a secret that the way that we recruit we also bring a lot of bad apples and spies in. Regardless of this we will keep on recruiting with a heavy hand as we are simply trying to bring people together so that they would then be able to find the right path to walk with the right corporation. Obviously we would prefer if they would find a corporation within the coalition so that they could keep on playing with the friends they have made so far with us but we have no hard feelings either if you leave somewhere else if you feel we cant offer you what you are looking for.

What comes to SEADC we will keep on with the extremely laid back attitude towards the game. If you want to boost your game and get into a more hard core corporation then we hope that you have a look at the different corporations we have to offer for you.

With the FC team we will do our best to keep your basic training fleets up and to make sure you have content also in high sec space. If you are interested in taking up roles in the coalition then I recommend you have a look at the different AUTH groups we have set up.

Our future goals stands the same as a coalition: we are trying to help the corporations we have with us to thrive and guide our active members towards those corporations. Each corporation still remains autonomous and decides themselves what and how they want to do the things. What SiCO offers is a simple framework to play in and find new friends to play with

Corporation descriptions and other questions only in voice.
